Social Death

Now we don't like to think that this page will really ever contain much information but it's here just in case any unscrupulous sellers try it on on our site.

Social Death is simply a shame file. If a buyer receives an item that is not as it was described on the site, in poor condition, or the experience was horrid, they must tell Miss Money Penny. Now, we do believe in listening to two sides of a story and will always check with the seller first.

If the same person if being reported more than once bells will ring and two strikes, you're out. You will appear in Social Death and be banned from selling to our trusting buyers. Nasty, nasty business but we need to keep the riff raff out! 

Social Death Report - First Ever!

So, Miss Money Penny has been running for almost a year now and only 3 ever product returns.

Reason:

1) Item wrong colour - this was a difficult one as the item sent was precisely as described it's just that the buy and sellers perceptions of a certain shade were different. The Buyer also admited the jacket just didn't suit her (and actually tried telling us it was 'shabby'. We asked foir it to be send directly back to MMP only to find it in pristine condition! If you just don't like it that's fine - just be honest. So 'course'

2) Item stained - and fair enough too! Turned out the seller sold a brand new still in packaging item and had not opened it before sending. Seems, when in storage, this item had suffered some water damage. Refund made straight away and the seller mortified. No one's fault really and a rare occurance.

3) Not what i was expecting. Again, a case of accurate description - out of wack expectations. This item was a designer handbag but the diffusion line. It was clearely stated in the description. the buyer was expecting brand new - it was not. And it was described as such. Please choose carefully. of course we happily refunded but are not obliged to if people simply change their minds or don't read the description.

Ladies please understand that items are not all BNWT (Brand New With Tags) are are often priced so fabulously because they have been worn once or twice. This doesn't mean that quality has ever been an issue - it's more about expectation. If an item is described as marked - it will have marks - so please be aware when buying. Generally our items do not have flaws such as these but occassionally an amazing pair of worn once shoes or the like will come up on the site. obviously there will be scuff marks on the sole - even if worn once. If you want brand new please go straight to the 'Brand New' section.

Social Death - Buyer

O.K our first repeat offender. We won't name names this time BUT - this person seems to thrive on complaining - Buys things, (our sellers have accuraltey described and taken the time to package up beautifully and send off at the Post Office), and wants a refund for imaginary faults and beacuase 'it doesn't look good on me'. Please. We have been more than happy to refund the purchase (annoying for sellers who have made the effort) but please do not waste any more of our time. If you are that bored go find a good book!

At Miss Money Penny we only wish to represent the best in pre-owned designer and high end Australian label fashion and accessories. Our sellers merchandise reflects our brand and edit all items submitted before listing to ensure the buyer does not have to trawl through mountains of second-rate merchandise to find a gem. That said, sometimes it is impossible to vet all items via images. that's where ourt selling contract terms and conditions come in. if a seller sends off second rate items, and there are complaints, they are banned fdrom selling. END OF STORY.
